ESPN’s Sam Acho picks Florida to win against Tennessee

The primetime matchup between the Florida Gators and No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers is set for Saturday night, and all the experts are putting in their predictions. The results have surprisingly been split down the middle, even here at GatorsWire.

ESPN’s College Football Live Analyst Sam Acho, the older brother of former NFL linebacker Emmanuel, announced his pick on national television for Saturday’s game.

Acho picks the Gators and says the Volunteers are in for an unpleasant surprise.

“This Florida team is a practical program,” Acho said. “We know that Tennessee, so far they’re 2-0, but they haven’t looked like the Tennessee that we saw last year, right?”

“We’ve seen pedestrian enough performances from the passing attack about 200 passing yards for rushing Amos. Will Florida allow Tennessee to run the ball? I don’t think so. That’s why I think it should be a rude awakening for Tennessee.”

There are a lot of factors going into the week three rivalry game this season, and the analysts are at a stalemate for the showdown in the Swamp.

The Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers are slated for a 7 p.m. EDT kickoff from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The game will air on ESPN.
