Saturday, following Clemson’s big win over Notre Dame, head coach Dabo Swinney stated, “If Clemson’s a stock, you better buy all you can freakin’ can buy right now!” It was a big win for the Tigers and Swinney, who won his 166th game as Clemson’s head coach, surpassing the great Frank Howard as the program’s all-time winningest head coach.
When asked if he was buying Clemson’s stock following the win, ESPN’s Dusty Dvoracek said: “I never sold any stock, Tyler!” A funny jab at Tyler from Spartanburg.
“Of course, I’m buying stock. That culture is strong. I’d like him to utilize the transfer portal a little bit more. But heck yeah, I’m buying stock in Dabo and Clemson.”
Is Clemson back on the rise? It is just one game, but the next few weeks should show us more about the direction this program is heading.
