Entering 5th year in Buffalo, Bills’ Jordan Poyer calls team bond ‘special’

Safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde were the original Bills. Well, in a sense.

In 2017 when the guard was changed over to head coach Sean McDermott, the two overlooked safeties were signed by the team.

Now Buffalo has had one of the best safety duos on their defense the past half decade.

Both players are entering their fifth years in Buffalo as both have gone on to sign contract extensions as well.

Recently appearing on NFL Network, Poyer called team bonding that have been built over the course of the past few years… something different.

“The comradery we’ve built with each other, on and off the field, it’s nothing short of special,” Poyer said.
