These lentil and mushroom meatballs taste delicious regardless of whether you’re a vegan. The recipe features a mix of diced mushrooms, onions and garlic, seasoned with sea salt, Italian seasoning, fennel seeds, mushroom powder and pepper, cooked in an oiled skillet over medium-low heat for about five minutes. Pour the mushroom mix into a food processor with flaxseed meal, water, nutritional yeast, breadcrumbs and partially cooked lentils. Form the mixture into balls using a medium-sized ice cream scoop. Finally, cook the meatballs on an oiled skillet over medium heat until each side develops a slight char.

2. Vegan cranberry barbecue sauce meatballs

Sweet and savory, these cranberry barbecue sauce meatballs will become a regular in your meal rotation. Start by adding cranberry sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon, vinegar, lemon juice, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and maple syrup to a skillet over medium heat. Then simmer for about eight minutes. Finally, toss in your favorite plant-based meatballs, and thoroughly coat them in the sauce before covering the skillet and cooking for about five more minutes before serving.

3. Vegan chipotle meatballs

These vegan chipotle meatballs pack a flavorful punch! First, add plant-based meat, diced onions, diced tomatoes, cilantro, vegan mayo, barbecue sauce and bread crumbs to a bowl. Then combine everything with your hands. Next, roll the mix into balls and cook them on an oiled skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until slightly browned. Set the meatballs aside. Then add chipotle adobo, tomato paste and water to a skillet over medium heat. Finally, add chopped carrots, diced potatoes, oregano, diced zucchini, celery, bay leaves and the meatballs. Then let simmer before serving.

4. Buffalo cauliflower meatballs

Serve these Buffalo cauliflower meatballs at your next game-day party. Begin by adding cauliflower rice and almond flour to a mixing bowl. Next, add whipped egg, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the mix and thoroughly combine. Then form the mixture into 1-inch balls before air frying them at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the meatballs to a mixing bowl and coat them in vegan Buffalo sauce before serving.

5. Vegan Haitian meatballs

These vegan Haitian meatballs are loaded with deliciously seasoned vegetables. First, add chickpeas, baby bella mushrooms, walnuts, coconut aminos and minced garlic to a food processor. After blending, transfer the mix to a mixing bowl and add diced onions, parsley, epis (Haitian seasoning), cayenne pepper, complete seasoning, onion powder, vegan parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard. Refrigerate the mixture for an hour. Then form it into balls and place them on a baking sheet. Bake the meatballs at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Then plate them and enjoy.
