This may not be the best weekend to bet the Premier League.

Games are getting canceled in England as numerous clubs deal with COVID-19 outbreaks. Five weekend games have already been postponed due to COVID cases. Below is a list of the games still on tap as on Thursday evening.

The uncertain status of games throughout the league makes betting games ahead of time a perilous idea. If you're going to bet, make sure the game is going ahead and take a look at the squads before you do. With teams not revealing the identities of players either testing positive for COVID-19 or isolating, you need to wait until team sheets are released before you decided to risk your hard-earned money.

If you are going to bet, here are this weekend's odds for the games that are still scheduled as of Thursday morning in the United States. Odds are from BetMGM and all games are on Saturday unless noted.

Aston Villa vs. Burnley (over/under 2.5 goals)

  • Aston Villa (-140)

  • Burnley (+360)

  • Tie (+290)

Burnley is just a point ahead of last place, though its goal difference is just -7 through 15 games. That’s a better goal difference than 14th-place Everton has in just one more game. Villa is still the pick here because the game is at home, though a tie wouldn’t be too surprising.

Leeds vs. Arsenal (2.5)

  • Leeds (+290)

  • Arsenal (-115)

  • Tie (+280)

Leeds were brutal this week in a massive loss to Man City while Arsenal looked very good against West Ham. We wouldn’t be stunned if there’s a tie.

Wolves vs. Chelsea (2.5) [Sunday]

  • Wolves (+525)

  • Chelsea (-175)

  • Tie (+280)

Chelsea should take care of business here, though Wolves have been competitive against Man City and Liverpool lately. Wolves only lost 1-0 to City despite going down to 10 men just before halftime.

Manchester City vs. Newcastle United (3.5) [Sunday]

  • Newcastle (+1250)

  • Man City (-550)

  • Tie (+650)

Bet the over. It’s +105 and Man City is in tip-top form at the moment. Newcastle could give up a lot of goals.
