England lose series to India despite Richard Gleeson's dream debut

england vs india 2nd t20 live score latest updates - Rui Vieira/AP
  • Full scoreboard from Edgbaston

  • India win by 49 runs to take unassailable 2-0 lead

  • Debutant Gleeson takes 3/15 as India make 170/8

  • Roy out first ball with Buttler falling for 4

  • England bowled out for 121

Five days after they had made a chase of 378 against India at Edgbaston seem like a chase of 171, England made a target of 171 seem more like 378. Confronted with a wonderfully varied attack – spearheaded by the outstanding new-ball pair Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah – England lost Jason Roy to the very first ball. Their run chase scarcely improved thereafter, as India took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the Twenty20 international series.

Besides World Cup campaigns, international T20s are notoriously hard to analyse, with a side’s need to learn, and to manage the workloads of multi- format players, competing alongside the need to win. Since beginning their T20 World Cup campaign with four consecutive victories, England have now only won two of their last nine T20 internationals. While there is much mitigation to this sequence – the 3-2 defeat in the Caribbean in January came devoid of any of England’s Test players, and they have not been at full strength against India either – it is becoming an uncomfortable one.

Curiously, for a side who have long been stronger in batting than bowling, England have now lost five consecutive games chasing. After their 50-run defeat to India at the Ageas Bowl on Thursday, this 49-run defeat on their return to Edgbaston was just as comprehensive. This pair of defeats have come with England only missing three players who are fit – Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes, resting after their Test exertions, and Adil Rashid, who is on a Hajj pilgrimage.

For all that England might have feared the impact of India’s spinners on a used wicket, their defeat was authored by India’s brilliant new-ball pair.

With a beautiful, classical action, Bhuvneshwar has generated sharply more swing than any other new-ball bowler this series. Classical away movement accounted for Roy from the very first delivery of England’s chase; in his second over, another away swinger got a feather of an edge from Jos Buttler, as India’s use of the Decision Review System showed. These wickets extended Bhuvneshwar’s outstanding records against both England openers: he now has a combined 8-130 against Buttler and Roy in all T20, while conceding under a run a ball.

Where Bhuvneshwar relies on swing, Bumrah presents a profoundly different threat: seam, a whippy action and deep cunning. In his second over, an off-cutter utterly befuddled Liam Livingstone en route to crashing into his off stump. When Yuzvendra Chahal terminated the attempts by Harry Brook and Dawid Malan to rebuild England’s innings, their descent was swift.

Unusually, England’s batting order felt a little short. With three all-rounders in the top seven, England could consider a change in formation, bringing in an extra specialist – Phil Salt – for Sam Curran or David Willey. That would also allow more flexibility in how the top seven are deployed: this series, Livingstone has twice been in – and out – against the new ball.

While Buttler has rapidly learnt of the challenges of regenerating England after Eoin Morgan’s captaincy, India appear to be benefiting from embracing the style of play beloved by Morgan. After being bundled out of last year’s T20 World Cup in the group stages, when their batting was notably conservative, India have embraced a more dynamic approach, embodied by promoting Rishabh Pant – who unfurled what could best be described as a helicopter pull shot to hit Moeen Ali for four – to open. Rather than being dependent on their top three, India are now attacking earlier, confident in the ability of their middle and lower order. After they had slipped from 49 for nought, in the fifth over, to 89 for five in the 11th, Ravindra Jadeja’s 46 not out vindicated this approach.

Yet this recovery could not detract from an extraordinary day in Richard Gleeson’s career. As soon as he was awarded his England cap, this was a remarkable day in his circuitous route to the top: after previously working as a landscape gardener, he did not make his professional debut until he was 27 and, aged 34 years and 219 days, became England’s oldest debutant since 2007.

At Edgbaston, Gleeson’s bowling provided a tale almost as good. Within his first eight balls, he dismissed Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Pant, using a combination of pace – he reached 89mph – short-of-a-length deliveries and an admirably equable temperament. Gleeson has mainly been used by Lancashire in the T20 Blast in the Powerplay and at the death; his versatility to bowl in all three phases of the innings marks him out as a strong contender to be in England’s World Cup squad.

“You want to play in the big occasions, don't you,” Gleeson said. “Why not?” On the evidence of 3-15 from his first four overs in international cricket, it is hard to argue. But first, he has a more modest wish: “a new contract with Lancashire”.

England vs India, first T20 as it happened

06:06 PM

Rohit Sharma's verdict

We all know how good England are and we knew it would be a challenge. We were quite clinical and had a clear mind with bat and ball.

When you win games you feel confident, and there's a lot of confidence in the group. We just want to continue and focus on what lies ahead. We want to challenge ourselves more and more.

It was a brilliant under knock under pressure [from Jadeja]. He was quite calm and collected; at no point did we feel he was panicking or anything like that.

I thought the score was par on that pitch, and then we were clinical with the ball. We understand the importance of the Powerplay, with bat and ball, putting pressure on the opposition. I thought we were superb.

06:04 PM

Jos Buttler's verdict

It's very disappointing. We didn't play well enough and got what we deserved.

I wasn't too disappointed with India's score. It was a fantastic debut for Richard Gleeson and Chris Jordan was excellent. But we lost early wickets, and any time you do that you fall behind the game.

It was a great day for Richard - not just the wickets but the players he got out.

We don't have much time to reflect on the game, but we'll consider the balance of the team before tomorrow's game.

05:52 PM

India win by 49 runs

That's another terrific win for India. They wobbled after a flying start, when the debutant Richard Gleeson took 3/15 on a memorable debut. But Ravindra Jadeja, resourceful as ever, made a fine unbeaten 46 to take them to a useful total of 170/8.

We thought it might be below par - but Bhuvneshwar Kumar took out Jason Roy and Jos Buttler with the new ball, and from that moment England were in trouble.

There's no reason for England to panic but they do have a little bit to think about, particularly the flow of their middle order.

05:49 PM

Wicket!!! England 121 all out

Parkinson b Patel 0

Harshal Patel cleans Parkinson up to complete another emphatic win for India - 50 runs on Wednesday, 49 runs this afternoon. They have hammered England again, and become the first team to win a bilateral series away to England since, yep, India in 2018.

India win by 49 runs

05:42 PM

OVER 16: ENG 110/9 (Willey 22 Parkinson 0)

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the player of the series so far, has figures of 3-1-15-3.

05:40 PM

Wicket!!!

Gleeson c Kohli b Kumar 2

Nine down, one to go! Gleeson lofts a slower ball down the ground, and Kohli takes a comfortable catch FOW: 109/9

05:36 PM

OVER 15: ENG 106/8 (Willey 20 Gleeson 0)

Willey clubs Pandya over mid-on for four to move into double figures, and then hooks the next ball for six.

05:34 PM

Wicket!!!

Jordan run out 1

Chris Jordan is run out first ball! He came back for a second, David Willey said no, and that was the end of that. FOW: 95/8

05:33 PM

Wicket!!!

Ali c Sharma b Pandya 35

Moeen Ali clouts Pandya over midwicket for six but then drives the next ball straight to mid-off. He played well, hitting 35 from 21 balls, but it always looked like too stiff a task. FOW: 94/7

05:30 PM

OVER 14: ENG 88/6 (Ali 29 Willey 9)

Willey gets his first boundary, blasting Jadeja through the covers, and then Moeen chips a lovely straight six.

Fourteen from the over, England's best for a long while. They need 83 from 36 balls.

05:27 PM

OVER 13: ENG 74/6 (Ali 21 Willey 3)

Harshal Patel hurries through another over. One run from the first five balls, and then Ali hooks a slower bouncer for four.

05:22 PM

OVER 12: ENG 69/6 (Ali 17 Willey 2)

Jadeja comes into the attack, starting round the wicket to the left-handers. It's all just admin now - India have won this game.

After four singles, Moeen Ali lifts a sweep for four.

05:20 PM

OVER 11: ENG 61/6 (Ali 11 Willey 0)

Just two from Bumrah's over. This is done and dusted.

05:18 PM

Wicket!!!

Curran c Pandya b Bumrah 2

England are taking a hammering here. Curran drives Bumrah's slower ball towards mid-off, where Pandya backpedals smartly to take an excellent catch. FOW: 60/6

05:15 PM

OVER 10: ENG 59/5 (Ali 9 Curran 2)

If India win today they will clinch the series with a game to spare. The last time England lost a bilateral T20 series at home was in 2018, against, yep, India.

302358130 - Dan Mullan/Getty Images Europe

05:11 PM

Wicket!!!

Malan c Patel b Chahal 19

And it's goodnight from England. Malan reverse sweeps Chahal's first ball, a low full toss, straight to backward point, and England are five down. FOW: 55/5

05:10 PM

OVER 9: ENG 55/4 (Malan 19 Ali 7)

Ali swishes a cut for four off Patel, back in place of Chahal. But one aesthetically pleasing boundary an over isn't enough for England, for whom the match and series are slipping away. They need 116 from 66 balls.

05:04 PM

OVER 8: ENG 46/4 (Malan 17 Ali 1)

With England briefly in consolidation mode, Pandya gets through a boundaryless over. The required rate is now above 10 an over.

05:00 PM

OVER 7: ENG 42/4 (Malan 14 Ali 0)

England are in serious trouble here - they need 129 from 13 overs.

04:59 PM

Wicket!!!

Brook c Yadav b Chahal 8

The Powerplay is done, so it's time for the legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal - and he strikes with his fourth ball. Brook comes down the track but slices high towards deep mid-on, where Yadav takes an easy catch. FOW: 41/4

04:55 PM

OVER 6: ENG 36/3 (Malan 13 Brook 4)

Harshal Patel replaces Pandya at the HP End. His third ball is short and wide, allowing Malan to flash a cut for four, and then Brook gets off the mark with a stylish, wristy chip for four. A better over for England, nine from it.

04:47 PM

OVER 5: ENG 27/3 (Malan 8 Brook 0)

Harry Brook's first delivery is a brute that trampolines past the outside edge, and the second brings another huge LBW appeal!

It's turned down, but India have gone for the review. I think this will be umpire's call at best, and therefore Brook should survive.

Here comes the replay ... it's missing, so Brook is not out and India lose a review. Even so, that's a fantastic over from Bumrah - a wicket maiden, and a big wicket at that.

04:46 PM

Wicket!!!

Livingstone b Bumrah 15

Liam Livingstone has been cleaned up! It was a gorgeous off-cutter from Bumrah, which beat Livingstone all ends up and crashed into the top of off stump. England are in bother. FOW: 27/3

04:44 PM

OVER 4: ENG 27/2 (Malan 8 Livingstone 15)

Hardik Pandya is into the attack. His second ball is launched into orbit by Livingstone, with Chahal at fine leg failing to get a hand on what was admittedly a difficult, swirling chance.

Livingstone plays an imperious stroke later in the over, walking down the track to flick in the air through midwicket for four. That was an homage to the Kevin Pietersen flamingo shot. Livingstone has 15 from 8 balls.

04:39 PM

OVER 3: ENG 19/2 (Malan 7 Livingstone 8)

Buttler didn't look thrilled with that decision. There was a spike on UltraEdge, so he had to go.

The new batter Livingstone walks down the track to muscle his first ball through midwicket for four. Shot! The next delivery is slammed to the extra cover boundary, and an eventful over concludes with Livingstone surviving a big LBW appeal. He was miles outside the line.

04:34 PM

Wicket!

Buttler c Pant b Kumar 4

Kumar to Buttler, episode two. He starts with an inswinger, the ball that did the damage on Wednesday night, but this time Buttler works it behind square on the leg side for a couple.

Now there's a review for caught behind against Buttler! He felt for a ball outside off stump, with Pant taking a smart catch up to the stumps. Replays show there was a slight underedge, and Buttler has gone! FOW: 11/2

04:31 PM

OVER 2: ENG 8/1 (Buttler 2 Malan 6)

Buttler, who got a golden duck on Wednesday, works Bumrah for a single to get off the mark.

Malan gets the first boundary, lacing a drive through the covers. There was a shout of 'catch!' but it was wide of the man at short extra.

04:27 PM

OVER 1: ENG 0/1 (Buttler 0 Malan 0)

A marvellous first over from Kumar, who beats the new batter Dawid Malan with consecutive deliveries and then has a huge LBW shout turned down. India decide not to review, but that looked seriously close.

Replays show it would have bounced over the stumps, so it was a good decision not to review.

04:23 PM

Wicket!!!

Roy c Sharma b Kumar 0 Bhuvneshwar Kumar strikes first ball! Jason Roy followed an outswinger almost absent-mindedly and edged it to the right of first slip, where Rohit Sharma took a smart two-handed catch. FOW: 0/1

04:21 PM

Here come the England openers

Jason Roy and Jos Buttler had a tricky time at the Ageas Bowl. If India get them early again, they will be right in the game.

04:15 PM

Richard Gleeson speaks

I’d have taken that any day of the week, but especially against these boys. I called the first two wickets with the bowling coach before the game! But to get the third one as well… it’s massive.

I’ve been focussing on trying to get a bit of snap back into my action and it was good to continue that today. I’m meant to be doing a bit of a teacher training this week. Thankfully they let me have a bit of time off.

04:13 PM

Change of innings

That was a pretty good effort from England, and the consensus is that India's total is 15-20 runs below par.

Richard Gleeson had a debut to remember, picking up three huge wickets in the space of four balls, while Chris Jordan took four for 27. See you soon for the runchanse.

04:11 PM

OVER 20: IND 170/8 (Jadeja 46, Bumrah 0)

Curran bowls the last over, and Jadeja twice turns down a single so that he can keep the strike.

Once you promise, you have to pay - and Jadeja does by helping a full toss round the corner for four.

Eleven from the over in total, and England will need 171 to win.

04:07 PM

OVER 19: IND 159/8 (Jadeja 36, Bumrah 0)

One over to go.

04:07 PM

Wicket!!!

Kumar c Willey b Jordan 2

Chris Jordan gets his fourth wicket with his final delivery when Kumar drives to extra cover. Jordan, who bowled splendidly, finishes with 4-0-27-4. FOW: 159/8

04:02 PM

OVER 18: IND 152/7 (Jadeja 30, Kumar 1)

Gleeson returns for his fourth and final over. It's another good effort, with no boundaries conceded, and he ends  with glorious figures of 4-1-15-3. Well bowled young(ish) man.

And in case you missed it, the three wickets were Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant.

03:58 PM

OVER 17: IND 145/7 (Jadeja 24, Kumar 0)

It has felt like England have been on top since Gleeson's burst, but India are hurrying towards a competitive total.

03:58 PM

Wicket!!!

Patel c Gleeson b Jordan 13

Jadeja times a short ball from Jordan through backward point for four, another classy stroke, and then Harshal Patel launches Jordan over long-on for six!

Patel falls off the last ball of the over, though, pinging Jordan straight to Gleeson at third man. FOW 145/7

03:52 PM

OVER 16: IND 132/6 (Jadeja 19 Patel 5)

Jadeja, ever the brawler, lofts Livingstone inside out for four, and then Harshal Patel blasts the final delivery to the cover boundary.

There were four wides before the wicket of Karthik, so it's an expensive over all told: 17 from it.

03:49 PM

Wicket!!!

Karthik run out 12

Dinesh Karthik is run out after a good throw from Brook and a smart, almost nonchalant piece of work from Jos Buttler. FOW: 122/6

03:46 PM

OVER 15: IND 115/5 (Jadeja 12 Karthik 12)

Karthik gets his first boundary, chipping the new bowler Curran wide of deep backward square.

That aside it's another decent over for England, who are in control of the game ... for now.

03:41 PM

OVER 14: IND 107/5 (Jadeja 10 Karthik 7)

Liam Livingstone comes on to bowl his mixture of off and legspin. Brook does well to deny Karthik a boundary, and there are just six runs from the over. England will take that.

03:38 PM

OVER 13: IND 101/5 (Jadeja 8 Karthik 3)

Willey on for Jordan. Karthik gets off the mark from his eighth delivery, and gets the bonus of an overthrow.

An unfortunate misfield from Brook gives Jadeja a boundary off the last ball of an otherwise quiet over.

03:33 PM

OVER 12: IND 91/5 (Jadeja 1 Karthik 0)

Gleeson returns to the attack and twice beats Karthik with beautiful deliveries outside off stump. That's Test match bowling, not T20.

It's another terrific over from Gleeson, who has barely believable figures of 3-1-8-3.

03:28 PM

OVER 11: IND 89/5 (Jadeja 0 Karthik 0)

No hat-trick for Chris Jordan, but he'll be more than happy with his figures: 2-0-7-2.

England have used the shorter ball well this afternoon on a pitch that has a bit of zing.

03:26 PM

Wicket!!!!

Pandya c Malan  b Jordan 12

Two in two balls for Chris Jordan! Pandya, both feet off the ground, slapped a short ball straight to Malan at backward point. This is turning into a very good afternoon for the England bowlers. FOW: 89/5

03:24 PM

Wicket!!!

Yadav c Curran b Jordan 15

Another one gone. Suryakumar Yadav smashes Jordan miles in the air on the leg side, and Sam Curran runs in from the boundary to take a beautifully judged catch. FOW: 89/4

03:19 PM

OVER 10: IND 86/3 (Yadav 15 Pandya 9)

I'm not sure India think much of Parkinson's bowling. Pandya scorches him down the ground for four, then Yadav smashes a square drive to the boundary.

Thirteen from the over, and it's time for drinks.

03:16 PM

OVER 9: IND 73/3 (Yadav 8 Pandya 3)

Chris Jordan into the attack. He beats Pandya with a cracking delivery that really zips off the surface, and there are only four from the over. England - well, Gleeson - have fought back superbly across a difficult start.

03:11 PM

OVER 8: IND 69/3 (Yadav 6 Pandya 1)

Matt Parkinson comes into the attack. No consolidation from India: Suryakumar Yadav makes room to launch the second delivery over extra cover for four. Gorgeous shot.

03:07 PM

OVER 7: IND 61/3 (Yadav 0 Pandya 0)

Hardik Pandya survives the hat-trick ball, but it's another brilliant over from Gleeson - fast and hostile, with Pandya only able to defend the last four deliveries. In fact, it's a double-wicket maiden.

Gleeson has a unique backstory, and it's well worth reading about.

03:03 PM

Wicket!!!

Pant c Buttler b Gleeson 26 Three wickets in four balls for Richard Gleeson! This is quite extraordinary.

Pant charged down the wicket and got an inside edge through to Buttler, who gleefully took the catch. FOW: 61/3

03:02 PM

Wicket!!!!

Kohli c Malan b Gleeson 1 First Rohit Sharma, now Virat Kohli: this is an incredible start for Richard Gleeson!

Kohli clouted the ball high over backward point, where Dawid Malan ran back to take a wonderful diving catch. FOW: 61/2

03:00 PM

OVER 6: IND 61/1 (Pant 26 Kohli 1)

Spectacular hitting from Rishabh Pant. He belts Moeen Ali down the ground for six, then boings his wrists Dhoni-style to pull a boundary through square leg. Ten from the first two balls, two from the next four.

Here's that Richard Gleeson wicket in the previous over.

02:56 PM

OVER 5: IND 49/1 (Pant 15 Kohli 0)

A terrific first over from Gleeson - six runs, one wicket and a fine old tale for the grandchildren.

02:55 PM

Wicket!!

Rohit Sharma c Buttler b Gleeson 31

Richard Gleeson strikes with his fifth ball in international cricket! What a lovely moment that is. Sharma, surprised by a sharp bumper, top-edged it high over the keeper's head, and Jos Buttler ran back to take a good two-handed catch. FOW 49/1

02:50 PM

OVER 4: IND 43/0 (Sharma 25 Pant 15)

Jos Buttler turns to Moeen Ali in an attempt to restore some order. Good luck with that. Rohit Sharma makes room to lift a boundary over the infield on the off side, then clouts four more through midwicket.

India are off to another flyer.

02:44 PM

OVER 3: IND 32/0 (Sharma 15 Pant 14)

Sharma drives Willey's first ball high over mid-off for six, the start of a productive, 17-run over for India.

Pant glides wide of short third man for four, a really high-class stroke, and a slightly frazzled Willey sends down a couple of wides later in the over.

Pant finishes things off with another stylish boundary, lifted lazily over short fine leg.

02:40 PM

OVER 2: IND 15/0 (Sharma 8 Pant 6)

It'll be Sam Curran from the other end. Sharma edges a cutter just short of Buttler, but then Pant gets going with a disdainful one-bounce four back over Curran's head.

Seven from the over. Meanwhile, here's that chance to Jason Roy in the previous over.

02:36 PM

OVER 1: IND 8/0 (Sharma 7 Pant 1)

Rohit Sharma is dropped off the fourth ball of the innings! It was a fairly straightforward low chance to Roy at backward point, who put it down and turned on his heels in disgust.

Pant got off the mark with a risky single before that, and I think he would have been out had Brook’s throw hit the stumps.

After conceding two from the first five balls, Willey’s last delivery is lifted miles over backward square leg for six.

02:30 PM

The players are on the field

Virat Kohli was down to open the batting on the scorecard, but in fact it's Rishabh Pant who has come out alongside Rohit Sharma.

David Willey will open the bowling for England. It really is the most glorious afternoon in Birmingham.

02:10 PM

The teams in full

England Jason Roy, Jos Buttler (c/wk), Dawid Malan, Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, David Willey, Chris Jordan, Richard Gleeson, Matt Parkinson.

India Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal.

02:04 PM

Four changes for India

The big guns return - Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant. Kohli will open with Rohit Sharma.

Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh miss out.

02:02 PM

Gleeson and Willey in for England

Two changes for England from the first T20I: the debutant Richard Gleeson and David Willey replace Tymal Mills and Reece Topley.

02:01 PM

England have won the toss

And will bowl first.

01:59 PM

Gleeson to make international debut

As expected, 34-year-old Richard Gleeson will make his England debut this afternoon.

Gleeson didn't get his break in county cricket until the age of 26, and his previous jobs including cleaning maggots in a fishing tackle shop.

You can read more about Gleeson here.

01:42 PM

England's bowling options

A left-arm seamer is an essential part of any good T20 team. England played three on Wednesday - Sam Curran, Tymal Mills and Reece Topley - which might represent too much of a good thing.

There has been speculation that Richard Gleeson, the (right-arm) Lancashire quick, will make his debut today, possibly in place of Topley. We'll find out shortly.

01:23 PM

A nice day for a runfest

It's a lovely day in Birmingham, with temperatures around 23C. Perfect weather for watching the ball fly to all parts.

12:50 PM

Pietersen: 'I would love to play for this England Test team'

Today is about England's T20 side, but we are all still bathing in the afterglow of the Test team's extraordinary win over India earlier in the week.

While Brendon McCullum may not be fond of the term 'Bazball', it is probably here to stay. And it's a philosophy that would have been perfect for Kevin Pietersen, as he explained to our chief cricket correspondent Nick Hoult.

I got shouted at, screamed at, the press abused me, Sky commentators abused me, everyone hammered me if I got out having slapped it. I was playing like that but also knowing there were consequences. These guys now don't seem to have any consequences. So, short answer: yes I would love to play for this team.

12:37 PM

Good afternoon

And welcome to live coverage of the second IT20 between England and India at Edgbaston. So, shall we try that one again? No, not the intro – though I concede it verged on the perfunctory – but England’s new era under Jos Buttler. It got off to a false start at the Ageas Bowl on Wednesday, when they were well beaten by India and Buttler was dismissed for a golden duck.

Defeats like that are all in the game, especially one with as many variables as T20, but England will be keen to get back to normal ASAP. They are quietly having a difficult time in T20s – they’ve lost five of their last seven, their worst run in almost five years, and another defeat here would give India the series. But ultimately this is about the bigger picture, specifically the World T20 in Australia in October.

England have eight more games before the tournament starts, which gives them plenty of time to look at emerging and fringe players. Today, all eyes will be on Harry Brook, Matthew Parkinson – and perhaps Richard Gleeson, the Lancashire fast bowler who could make his international debut at the age of 34.

There will certainly be changes in the India side, despite their impressive win on Wednesday. The big guns are available again, including Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah. Good luck squeezing them into an already outstanding XI.

The match starts at 2.30pm local time, with the toss and team news at 2pm.
