Emmanuel Sanders also joins Bills OTAs this week

The Bills now have wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders officially in the fold. According to the team’s social media account on Instagram on Tuesday, the 34-year-old is partaking in workouts now.

Last week, Bills head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that Sanders was among a faction of veteran players not in attendance. It’s important to note that these workouts are not mandatory for players to attend.

Attendance is only required during minicamp practices, which occur on June 15-17 and then again when training camp starts.

Players also previously not in attendance during last week’s workouts included Vernon Butler, Jerry Hughes, Mario Addison, Daryl Williams, Taiwan Jones, Stefon Diggs and Star Lotulelei.

Devin Singletary was also not in attendance last week, but also is reportedly taking part in workouts as of Tuesday.

Sanders signed a one-year deal with the Bills earlier this offseason.
