Cardiff Devils came from behind to beat Coventry Blaze 5-3 at Vindico Arena.
Blake Thompson put Blaze ahead 49 seconds into the game, and Ian McNulty doubled the lead seven minutes later.
Cole Sanford halved the deficit in the second period but Blaze still led going into the last 20 minutes in Cardiff.
Joey Dudek restored Coventry's two-goal lead eight seconds into the final period, but Devils produced a stunning comeback with goals from Ryan Barrow, Tyler Busch, Joey Martin and Sanford.
A fifth straight victory for the Devils helps close the gap on runaway league leaders Sheffield Steelers to 12 points, while Coventry remain fifth.
Cardiff are back in action on Sunday away against Manchester Storm, while Coventry host Steelers on the same evening.
