- Welcome to the week of the rookie wide receiver. At the conclusion of the early games on Sunday, three of the top six fantasy scorers at wide receiver all first-year players. We have to start with Justin Jefferson. He's going to be a must-add player this week. How about 175 receiving yards? A long touchdown. Seven catches for the LSU product. He was obviously a dynamic player for the Tigers. 111 catches from Joe Burrow last season. He was great in the slot. He was actually great outside, too. And he was great on Sunday. He's available in over 70% of Yahoo! leagues. And let's look at Brandon Aiyuk of the Niners. He was terrific as well. Did it on the ground. Did it as a receiver. Scored a touchdown. And that's a team that's going to get Deebo back. They're going to get George Kittle back. He's not necessarily going to be at the top of the receiving hierarchy. Still, he is a play-maker, and the Niners need him. Lastly, let's look at Tee Higgins. Former Clemson star. He was obviously a dominant collegiate player. How about two touchdowns in the game against the Eagles on Sunday? Higgins has now seen 14 targets over his last two games. He's a real part of that offense. He's available in over 90% of Yahoo! leagues.
