Eagles’ projected offensive depth chart following the 2022 NFL Draft

The Eagles are roaring towards the start of the 2022 training camp after an NFL draft class that landed several A grades from experts and analysts.

On offense, the league’s top rushing offense returns intact, but the addition of A.J. Green could open things up for Dallas Goedert while allowing Jalen Hurts to take the bull by the horn.

Philadelphia is in phase two of the offseason workout program and the team will soon come together for two more OTA periods before breaking for the summer, and with late July fast approaching, let’s take a look at an early projected offensive depth chart following the draft.

QB
Jalen Hurts — Starter
Gardner Minshew 2nd
Carson Strong 3rd

Hurts is the starter and has the weapons around him to take the next steps as a passer. Gardner Minshew will be the backup unless a playoff-worthy team suffers a setback at quarterback.

Carson Strong is the project and he’ll beat out Reid Sinnett for that third quarterback spot.

Miles Sanders — starter
Kenneth Gainwell 2nd
Boston Scott 3rd
Jason Huntley 4th
Kennedy Brooks 5th

Sanders is the starter entering a contract year, while the Eagles hope that Kenneth Gainwell can take the next step and shine as the No. 2 running back and as a dual threat pass catcher.

Former Oklahoma running back and undrafted free agent Kennedy Brooks is a player to watch if Philadelphia chooses to replace Jordan Howard’s bruiser role.

Devonta Smith — Starter, Jalen Reagor, John Hightower

Quez Watkins — Slot, Greg Ward, Devon Allen, Deon Cain

A.J. Brown — Starter, Zach Pascal, Britan Covey

The addition of A.J. Brown from the Titans gives Philadelphia a bonafide one-two punch at wide receiver and Quez Watkins could be a beneficiary as well. Jalen Reagor is now No. 4 or No. 5 on the depth chart depending on how the Eagles view Zach Pascal after his time with the Colts.

Devon Allen and Britain Covey are speedsters to watch as well.

Dallas Goedert — Starter
Grant Calcaterra
Jack Stoll
Richard Rodgers
Tyree Jackson

Goedert will enter his first year as the full-time starter and he’ll look to earn his first Pro Bowl berth.

SMU’s Grant Calcaterra is the player to watch behind Goedert after Tyree Jackson suffered an ACL.

LT Jordan Mailata, Andre Dillard
LG Landon Dickerson, Sua Opeta, Josh Sills
C Jason Kelce, Cam Jurgens
RG Isaac Seumalo, Jack Driscoll, Kayode Awosika, Bill Dunkle
RT Lane Johnson, Le’Raven Clark, Jarrid Williams

Mailata and Dickerson form a monster duo on the left and Philadelphia is unlikely to break that tandem up, while Isaac Seumalo has earned the first shot at replacing the retired Brandon Brooks.
