Eagles place DE Derek Barnett on injured reserve after torn ACL

The Eagles are placing veteran defensive end Derek Barnett, on injured reserve after he suffered a torn ACL in the 38-35 season-opening win over the Lions.

On Tuesday, Philadelphia signed defensive end Janarius Robinson off the Vikings’ practice squad as a roster replacement.

Barnett re-signed to the Eagles on a two-year deal in free agency after logging 2.5 sacks in 2021.
