Howie Roseman used his second-round pick on Landon Dickerson over the weekend and one reason for Philadelphia’s GM pulling the trigger is the belief that the rugged former Alabama lineman can become the next great interior stud.

While speaking to Angelo Cataldi on Tuesday morning, Roseman compared Dickerson’s intangibles and physical mentality to former Eagles right tackle and Michigan star Jon Runyan.

Dickerson is versatile, tough, and a nasty player, something that resonates with fans who watched Runyan team with Tra Thomas for years.
