As the Eagles start preparation for a Week 10 matchup with the Denver Broncos, general manager Howie Roseman will be hitting the road for an in-person view of Thursday night’s matchup between Pitt and UNC.

The game will feature two potential first-round quarterbacks in the Panther’s Kenny Pickett and the Tarheels Sam Howell.

Roseman has always done his due diligence on potential draft-eligible quarterbacks and with the Eagles set to potentially have three first-round picks, 2022 offers an assortment of talented options at several positions.

Here’s a breakdown of both big-time quarterbacks.

A Davey O’Brien Award Semifinalist, Pickett has thrown for 3,171 yards and 29 touchdowns on 235-of-342 attempts, completing 68.7 percent of his passes (9.3 yards per) with just three interceptions.

Sneaky athletic, Pickett has also rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on 73 attempts as a runner.

A presumed top pick before the start of the season, Howell entered the season as a Heisman Trophy candidate before the Tarheels lost three of their first six games.

Howell is an athletic quarterback that can hurt you with his arm and legs.

Also a Semi-finalist for the Davey O’Brien Award, Howell has 2,408 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and he’s completed 68.3 percent of his attempts and posted a quarterback rating of 157.9 this year.

Howell also has rushed for 870 yards and 14 touchdowns, becoming a true dual threat.
