Eagles will be without 3 key starters for Thursday night matchup vs. Vikings

The Eagles held one final walkthrough before Thursday night’s huge matchup against the Vikings on Amazon Prime, and they’ll be without three starters.

The team announced that Reed Blankenship (ribs), Kenneth Gainwell (ribs), and James Bradberry (concussion) are all of missing the contest on three days rest after playing late Sunday afternoon.

Rashaad Penny (RB), Josh Jobe (CB), and Terrell Edmunds (S) would all be in line for an increased role against Minnesota.

After exiting Sunday’s win over New England with a head injury, All-Pro cornerback James Bradberry has been placed in the concussion protocol.

To return to game action, Bradberry must undergo an exam by a team doctor or an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant or athletic trainer to gain clearance.

If Bradberry doesn’t play, second-year cornerback Josh Jobe will get the start, with Kelee Ringo as another critical reserve.
