Oops! Dwight Howard tweets, then deletes news of Lakers signing originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Dwight Howard broke some big news in free agency that he was staying with the Lakers.

But then, it turns out, he may have been prematurely reporting his own news. Or non news.

Howard signed a one-year deal with the Lakers in August 2019 to fill in for DeMarcus Cousins. In an interview this week, he said he'd love to come back to Los Angeles, but wanted a guaranteed deal.

And now he's apparently heading to Philly?
