While the Washington Football Team will have new uniforms in 2020 as part of the franchise's rebrand, quarterback Dwayne Haskins isn't stopping the fashion upgrade there.
As the QB returns to Ashburn for the start of training camp this week, he shared multiple Instagram stories of custom cleats he has for the 2020 season. In short, they -- as the younger generation would say -- are "fire."
Partnering with the Jordan Brand, Haskins debuted two low-cut cleats that featured the Burgundy and Gold color scheme and his No. 7 featured. Both have their positives, as one is more simple with the white and burgundy with just a hint of gold while the other is eye-popping with its dominant gold base and striped design near the laces.
Hopefully, these cleats are something Haskins can rock during games in 2020, though the NFL's policy for footwear is somewhat complicated. Either way, if Haskins play under center looks as good as his cleats, he'll have no problem succeeding in what is an open competition at quarterback as training camp gets underway.
