Harmon spent seven seasons with the Patriots and won three Super Bowl titles as a valuable member of head coach Bill Belichick's defense.
The veteran safety is one of three Patriots players from the 2019 season who have joined the Lions in recent days. Linebacker Jamie Collins and defensive lineman Danny Shelton both reportedly agreed to sign with Detroit earlier this week.
