Nearly 1,000 customers are without power in Martinsville, according to Duke Energy.
Most of the outages are on the city’s west side around Morton Avenue and the State Road 39 bypass.
According to Duke Energy’s website, the restoration of power is expected around 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
