Ducks: Georgia State transfer Taylor Hosendove headed to Oregon originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

After losing four players to the transfer portal, the Ducks have taken in a player from the portal, too.

Georgia State forward Taylor Hosendove has committed to the University of Oregon, as announced by her Instagram page. As a junior, Hosendove led the Panthers in scoring (12.5 points)  and rebounds (8.8 rebounds).

She will have two seasons of eligibility remaining thanks to the extra year of eligibility due to COVID-19.

The 6'1" forward originally signed with Clemson out of high school as a three-star recruit before transferring to Georgia State as a sophomore.

Hosendove will likely take up a lot of the minutes left behind by Angela Dugalic, who transferred to UCLA this week. Freshman Kylee Watson will also compete for playing time behind Sedona Prince and Nyara Sabally at the four and five.

She's the first woman to enroll at Oregon through the transfer portal this season and is the third woman set to join the program, joining signees Taylor Bigby and Phillipina Kyei.

Oregon now has nine scholarship players.
