Perhaps Draymond Green should play center for the Warriors more often.

With James Wiseman and Kevon Looney joining Marquese Chriss on the Warriors' injury report last week, coach Steve Kerr has started the 6-foot-6 Green at center in each of the last five games.

Draymond has been setting up his teammates extremely well while operating out of that role, and joined the NBA's best centers in setting a unique milestone with his fifth consecutive 10-plus assist game in the Warriors' win over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night.

Considering Draymond never has had more than two consecutive games with double-digit assists in the regular season, this streak stands out. The Warriors are 3-2 in the last five without a traditional big man, and Green looks as adept as ever at distributing the ball and running the floor in transition.

It likely isn't a coincidence that Green's selfless play of late is aiding his teammate Steph Curry's rise in the NBA MVP race, as the six-time All-Star is playing some of the best basketball of his career in his 12th season.

Over his last eight games, Curry is averaging 35.3 points per game on an absurd 52.5 percent shooting from 3-point range. Green's presence has had a dramatic impact on Curry's shooting percentage throughout the season.

With Wiseman expected to remain out another 7-10 days while he continues to deal with a wrist injury, we'll see if Green can keep up this impressive pace as the Warriors' point center of sorts.
