Draymond joins elite company with unique playoff stat originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Draymond Green's lock-down defense is a big reason why the Warriors have a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

In the Warriors' 118-113 Game 3 win over the Nuggets on Thursday at Ball Arena, Draymond made playoff history with a couple of steals in the game.

To say that this is impressive company would be an understatement.

In 126 career playoff games, Draymond is averaging 12.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. He also is averaging 1.6 steals per game and 1.5 blocks per game on defense.

Draymond's value to the Warriors cannot be measured and we saw just how important he was when the team struggled without him for 31 games this season.

Now he and the Warriors are competing for their fourth NBA championship in eight seasons.
