3.1 – Team 1 — Keenan Allen
3.2 – Team 2 — George Kittle
3.3 – Team 3 — Devonta Freeman
3.4 – Team 4 — Zach Ertz
3.5 – Team 5 — T.Y. Hilton
3.6 – John Daigle — Melvin Gordon
3.7 – Team 7 — Patrick Mahomes
3.8 – Team 8 — Amari Cooper
3.9 – Team 9 — Marlon Mack
3.10 – Team 10 — Leonard Fournette
3.11 – Team 11 — Adam Thielen
3.12 – Team 12 — Aaron Jones
Notes: Unlike Elliott’s contract situation and holdout, Melvin Gordon is attempting to force his franchise’s hand with only one year left on the 26-year-old’s deal. That leaves the Chargers with zilch if Gordon sits out the entire year. Sure, it’s risky utilizing a third-rounder on someone who may not even see the field, but the likelier scenario is Gordon either signs and is worth a second-round pick in a reduced role ahead of Austin Ekeler or, better yet, is traded just to ensure Los Angeles doesn’t walk away emptyhanded at season’s end. Either way, selecting him at this stage of drafts is a valuable action.
