Today, we're showing a preview of our 15-team auction mock draft conducted on March 3rd.
Take a look:
Team 1 went pretty close to the traditional split between hitting and pitching, and wound up with $6 of surplus value against the AAV.
He’s got a nice trio of starting pitchers at the top in Blake Snell, Trevor Bauer and José Berríos, with a lot of upside in his cheaper shots behind them. His biggest overspend on offense – relative to AAV – was Khris Davis, who he bought for $10. Mike Trout, Aaron Judge and Kris Bryant provide a nice base on offense, but speed looks like it could be a bit light for this team.
