Dr. Pimple Popper Just Removed An 'ASMR' Shoulder Lipoma So Big, They Needed A Bucket To Catch It
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper is no stranger to lipomas—even huge ones.
But Dr. P just posted a lipoma video that takes the cake. It was so massive that it took a five-pound bucket to contain.
Dr. P then jiggles the lipoma around to capture the sound, captioning the video: "Lipoma ASMR. Are you in?"
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, has removed some pretty large lipomas. There was the massive "shoulder boulder" lipoma. And there was a mango-sized arm lipoma. But in a new Instagram video, Dr. P removed one of the largest yet. She removed a massive lipoma from the left shoulder of her female patient—and it was so big, that Dr. P and her team needed a bucket to put it in once it was removed.
As one of her Popaholics noted, it was, "A literal weight off her shoulders 😳."
"Lipoma ASMR. Are you in? #drpimplepopper #lipoma," Dr. P captioned the video.
The video starts out with some pre-op photos of the patient and the lipoma on her shoulder while she is standing up. The fatty growth was so sizable that the patient's hospital gown could not fully close. From there, the video fast forwards to the patient on her side on the table, after Dr. P has already excised the lipoma.
"I let the patient feel the area is flat right after removal," Dr. P wrote in a caption of the video.
"Oh my gosh! That's amazing!" says the patient with so much excitement and enthusiasm.
"Yes, it's flat!" says Dr. P.
Dr. P then pans the camera to a large five-gallon bucket that contains the lipoma (which her Popaholics said looked remarkably like "raw chicken.") And Dr. P zooms the camera in close to capture the squishy sounds of the lipoma sloshing around, giving off serious ASMR vibes. She also grabs the lipoma and kind of slams it down in the bucket for extra sound effects.
And her Popaholics were truly blown away by this one, especially the audio.
"I just know that I loved the sound 😂💕," one commented.
And another wrote, "The sound almost has me 🤢." And another commented, "Oh god! The ASMR, I heaved!"
