Doug Pederson says Eagles are ramping up DeSean Jackson as he gets closer to a return
The Eagles could have a big-play weapon returning to the lineup any day now, as Doug Pederson confirmed that DeSean Jackson has increased his workload in hopes of returning for the final two regular-season games.
“We feel like he is close.”
“He was able to get some snaps in with the offense. … We’ll see how he is and see how he feels today, but we’ll try to ramp him up.”
The Eagles on Monday afternoon activated the 21-day practice window for the 34-year old veteran receiver, who seems intent on going out on his own terms, as he’s unlikely to return to Philadelphia in 2021.
Jackson has been on Injured Reserve with an ankle fracture suffered against the New York Giants.
