Doug Pederson’s future with Eagles uncertain after proposed changes to coaching staff
On top of promoting Press Taylor to OC, Doug Pederson’s coaching suggestions to #Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie also had Andrew Breiner moving from pass game analyst to QBs coach, promoting Matt Burke from DL coach to DC, or bringing ex-DBs coach Cory Undlin back as DC, per source.

Jeffrey Lurie and Doug Pederson will meet in Florida on Monday to discuss the status of the Eagles head coach.
According to Jeff McLane of The Inquirer, Pederson’s initial meeting with Lurie didn’t go well after some suggestions for coaching changes were revealed.
According to McLane, Pederson was going to promote Press Taylor to offensive coordinator, while also promoting Andrew Breiner from passing game analyst to QBs coach.
Pederson also presented the idea of promoting Matt Burke from defensive line coach to defensive coordinator or rehiring Cory Undlin, while also retaining special teams coach, Dave Fipp.
Lurie was left underwhelmed by the moves and reportedly would prefer Pederson hires to come from outside the organization, while others suggest that Howie Roseman’s involvement could be a negative trigger for all parties as well.
