'I don't think it's a red card at all,' says Gallagher
Willie Collum was correct not to send off Aberdeen's Slobodan Rubezic for his aerial challenge with Kyogo, according to former Premier League referee, Dermot Gallagher.
The Montenegro international flew into a headed contest with the striker, but nastily collided with the back of his head, leaving the 28-year-old groggy and forced to depart.
The Aberdeen defender was shown a yellow card, much to the disgust of the home support, however, when asked about the incident on Sky Sports, Gallagher agreed with Collum's decision.
"I don't think it's a red card at all," he said. It's unfortunate because the clash of heads forces Kyogo off.
"It does [look worse on TV] but I certainly don't think it was a red card."
