For once, the Wizards aren't the team with the worst injury luck going into a game.
The Jazz, who are riding an eight-game winning streak, will be without their starting backcourt Sunday at Capital One Arena.
Donovan Mitchell (illness) and Mike Conley (hamstring) were both listed out by the team.
Mitchell has been a steady scorer for the Jazz ever since breaking into the league two years ago. He was averaging around 24 points on 46 percent shooting and 35.5 percent from three.
Conley has struggled in his first season as a member of the Jazz. After spending the first 12 years of his career in Memphis, Conley has yet to find his groove on the offensive end. As of Sunday, he was shooting an ungodly 36.5 percent from the floor.
The Wizards are coming off a solid victory over the Hawks Friday night at home, and it looks like their chances of winning back-to-back games just improved.
Washington and Utah will tip off at 3:30 p.m. EST.
