President Donald Trump has another hat for sale.
The hat retails for $45, an 80 percent premium over the standard $25 “MAGA” hat, but the same price as the Trump Halloween hat released last month.
The GOP’s official Twitter gave the new Christmas Trump hat a plug:

The hat was not, however, universally well-received.
Here are some of the less-than-merry reactions:
Do the lights light up??
Is it powered by coal and soulless corruption?

I really thought the commercialization of Christmas was the worst. Nah. It the politicization of Christmas that really gets my egg nog following.

When was Christmas not great? Please explain.

Commercializing Christmas with your silly hats is ok, but don't say Happy Holidays.

Interesting how Trump's slogan is the most prominent part of the hat. It's not Merry Christmas on the front and Make America Great Again on the back.
Guess it's only a War on Christmas if he says it is. https://t.co/uHmz0Dh7Q4

.@GOP Jesus doesn't need your help. How many pieces of silver did you get for your soul?

Woah, how close is this to self-parody? How close is it to the absolute bottom?
— trumpfingers (@trumpfingers17) November 18, 2017
And nothing celebrates the birth of Jesus like buying a hat with profits going into trump's pocket. Warms the heart. Merry Christmas indeed.

Just in case you burned your original #MAGA hat in disgust somewhere along the way. There were many opportunities.

Jimmy Carter had to sell off his peanut farm, and here you are promoting Trump’s merchandise!
