Donald Trump Jr mocked for promoting Trump-branded teddy bear as Valentine’s Day present
Donald Trump Jr has been roundly mocked on social media for urging people to buy a Trump-branded teddy bear as a Valentine’s Day present.
The US president’s eldest child called for people to get the stuffed toy which is wearing a white Trump-embossed bathrobe instead of roses.
Mr Trump Jr shared a photo of the bear riding a Trump plane which can be bought online.
His plug included a link to the website for the official Trump Store which is currently advertising “Gifts we love for Valentine’s Day” on its homepage.

The younger Trump has been lambasted for promoting the product on Twitter and some went so far as to quip that buying their loved one the bear would result in divorce or a breakup.
Both men and women said they struggled to imagine any partner finding the gift touching or seductive and argued it was overly corporate.
“If I was to give someone I love these items, it is grounds for a breakup or divorce!” said Twitter user, Richard Skipper.
“Nothing says 'please divorce me' like giving your loved one a trump spa teddy bear for Valentine's Day,” said Jane Reed.
