Dolphins announce their full 2023 coaching staff

On Friday, the Miami Dolphins finalized their coaching staff, as they head into their second season under head coach Mike McDaniel.

The staff is changed a bit from McDaniel’s first season, as Josh Boyer, Patrick Surtain, Matt Applebaum, Steve Gregory, Ty McKenzie and Steve Ferentz all moved on this past offseason.

Here’s a look at the full staff:

  • Head coach: Mike McDaniel

  • Assistant head coach/tight ends coach: Jon Embree

  • Offensive coordinator: Frank Smith

  • Quarterbacks coach/passing-game coordinator: Darrell Bevell

  • Associate head coach/running backs coach: Eric Studesville

  • Offensive line coach: Butch Barry (new)

  • Quality control: Josh Grizzard

  • Assistant quarterbacks coach: Chandler Henley

  • Assistant offensive line coach: Lemuel Jeanpierre

  • Offensive assistant: Ricardo Allen (new)

  • Offensive assistant: Mike Judge (new)

  • Offensive assistant: Max McCaffrey (new)

  • Offensive assistant: Kolby Smith

  • Defensive coordinator: Vic Fangio (new)

  • Defensive line coach: Austin Clark

  • Linebackers coach: Anthony Campanile

  • Outside linebackers coach: Ryan Slowik

  • Secondary coach/passing-game coordinator: Renaldo Hill (new)

  • Cornerbacks coach/pass-game specialist: Sam Madison

  • Safeties: Joe Kasper (new)

  • Assistant defensive line coach: Kenny Baker (new)
