Dolphins announce their 2022 team captains
The Miami Dolphins are putting all of their plans together for the start of the season with their Week 1 matchup against the New England Patriots on Sept. 11.
Ahead of the contest, Miami’s social team released the list of seven captains on their 53-man roster, and for the first time, the list includes the quarterback.
Here are the captains and how many times they’ve had the honor in Miami:
QB Tua Tagovailoa (first)
WR Tyreek Hill (first)
LT Terron Armstead (first)
DL Christian Wilkins (first)
LB Elandon Roberts (third)
CB Xavien Howard (first)
S Jevon Holland (first)
This group of players is a great mix of experienced veterans and young up-and-comers, and they’ve all displayed great leadership qualities in their time with the team.
