When does the NFL Combine 2024 start? How to watch, list of players, schedule and more

With Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers nearly two weeks behind us, one of the biggest events of the NFL offseason takes place ahead of free agency, which is slated to begin Mar. 13.

What I'm talking about is none other than the annual Scouting Combine, a nearly week long evaluation of college players transitioning to the NFL at the end of February at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This event brings together hundreds of draft eligible prospects to the Hoosier State to participate in on-the-field drills (40-yard dash, three-cone-drill, vertical jump, etc.), followed by interviews and meetings with NFL organizations to help evaluate and get to know the players during the pre-draft process with the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit now just over two months away.

Here's all you need to know on how to watch, who will be participating on the field and more for the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine:

When does the 2024 NFL Combine start?

This year's combine officially gets underway on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and wraps up on Sunday, Mar. 3.

Players will take the field and start performing drills on Thursday, Feb. 29.

What channel is the NFL Combine on?

For the 19th consecutive season, the NFL Network will have exclusive coverage of the combine.

NFL Combine 2024 schedule

Here's a need-to-know of when each position group will be taking the field in Indianapolis:

Feb 29: Defensive linemen and linebackers: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

Mar 1: Defensive backs and tight ends: 3 p.m.

Mar 2: Quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers: 1 p.m.

Mar 3: Offensive linemen: 1 p.m.

Which players are invited to the 2024 NFL Combine?

Fortunately for NFL fans, a majority of the top prospects will be in Indy putting their full talents on display for the viewers and front offices around the league to see.

Here are just a few of the projected first-round picks that will be performing at this year's combine:

Quarterbacks: Southern California's Caleb Williams, North Carolina's Drake Maye and LSU's Jayden Daniels

Wide receivers: Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr, LSU's Malik Nabers and Washington's Rome Odunze

Tight end: Georgia's Brock Bowers

Offensive linemen: Notre Dame's Joe Alt, and Penn State's Olumuyiwa Fashanu
