Doc Rivers on the Nets acquiring LaMarcus Aldridge: ‘I don’t give it a lot of thought’

It was only a matter of time before the NBA community reacted to LaMarcus Aldridge agreeing to sign with the Brooklyn Nets. Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers had some things to say following the signing. The Sixers are currently the Nets’ main rivals in the East as they compete for the first seed.

Our friend Ky Carlin over at the Sixers Wire touched on River’s reaction. According to Rivers, he isn’t concerning himself with the Nets’ roster moves.

“I don’t worry about it, to be honest. We’re kind of worried about ourselves and that’s all we can do. We like our team. We like who we are. We like how we play. So I don’t give it a lot of thought.”

The legendary Doc Rivers gave the most Doc Rivers response. He is currently the coach of the top team in the East. His team is finding ways to win games and the team has done fairly well without their best player, Joel Embiid, who has been playing like an MVP this season. There should be no reason why he should be worried about the second seed in the East acquiring a former All-Star in LaMarcus Alridge. Well, that’s only for now. Let’s see if things change soon.
