This diver only appears to be playing hockey underwater

Incredible video appears to shows a diver playing hockey underwater, but it’s not what it seems.

Canadian free divers, Ryan Foey and Andrew Ryzebol, created this optical illusion by swimming underneath Lake Huron’s ice and playing hockey upside down.

They dove into the lake with hockey gear and a foam puck and held their breath while floating up to the underside of the ice.

The pair then flipped the camera angle and the end result is a surreal video of underwater hockey.

Watch it unfold in the player above.

The divers say holding their breath for long periods of time and controlling their movements underwater come from years of extensive free diving experience.
