Autumn culinary flavors, which typically hit Palm Beach’s restaurants around mid-October, have arrived early at Café L’Europe.
New desserts and cocktails at the restaurant, 331 S. County Road, feature two fall favorites: pumpkin and apple.
New autumn-themed desserts include apple-and-cinnamon crepes ($18) with Calvados and vanilla ice cream, and pumpkin cheesecake ($16) with mascarpone and toasted pumpkin seeds.

“We’re starting with apple and pumpkin as a taste of what is to come sometime in October when we start adding fall things like butternut squash, venison, braised cabbage and hot soups,” executive chef Alain Krauss told the Daily News.
An appletini cocktail ($19) — with Tito’s Vodka, Sour Apple Pucker liqueur and lemon and lime juice — is one of three new autumn-themed cocktails.
The others include an apple cider mimosa ($19) with apple cider and Prosecco, and the Bourbon Honey Bee ($19) with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Aperol, honey, and lemon and pineapple juices.
“So many people love the fall — the cooler weather and new flavors the season brings,” Krauss said. “A little taste of it now is nice.”
