Dillon Brooks will not be suspended after hitting LeBron James in the groin

Game 3 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday was an emotional contest, and the Lakers came out on top, 111-101, after running out to a very large lead in the first quarter.

The so-called feud between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks continued after the trash talk Brooks levied during and after Game 2, and it culminated with the Grizzlies forward hitting James in the groin just after the start of the third quarter.

Brooks was assessed a flagrant 2 foul and ejected as a result.

However, he will not face any type of suspension or further discipline for his action against James.

Brooks had a poor shooting performance, going just 3-of-13 from the field on Saturday, while James had an efficient 25 points, plus nine rebounds and five assists.

Game 4 will take place on Monday at Crypto.com Arena at 7:00 p.m. Los Angeles time.
