After starting the season 2-6 with some embarrassing defensive performances, Washington won its second consecutive game in Week 11, defeating the Carolina Panthers, 27-21, in head coach Ron Rivera’s return to Charlotte.

Washington upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, 29-19, in a game the WFT dominated from start to finish. Washington held Tom Brady and the explosive Bucs offense to just 273 total yards.
