If you heard the words 'Kate Middleton's wedding dress', we're sure you could instantly picture the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen design, with its extravagant train, V-neck bodice and lace sleeves.
But, if we followed up with 'Kate Middleton's second wedding dress', you may struggle. Not as many people know that the Duchess actually had a second gown for the big day – and yes, it's as beautiful as the one she wore for the ceremony.
Once the public festivities were other, Kate changed into an ivory satin dress for an intimate evening affair at Buckingham Palace.
The gown, which was also designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, featured a sweetheart neckline, circle skirt and gorgeous diamante belt. The dress appears to be strapless, but the Duchess finished her look with a gorgeous white angora bolero. She also left her hair down in tumbling curls for a softer look.
Kate's iconic daytime gown helped attract a record number of visitors to Buckingham Palace when it was featured in a Royal Wedding exhibition.
It also sparked a surge in brides searching for a similar gown – but it seems that now future brides have two styles to choose from!
