Dez Bryant works out for Ravens but leaves without contract, and no deal is imminent

Dez Bryant’s wait will continue.

Bryant worked out for the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday but it didn’t result in a deal. NFL Media reported that a deal between the Ravens and Bryant is not imminent, though the sides didn’t rule out something happening later on.

For now, Bryant waits for another chance in the NFL.

Dez Bryant hasn’t played since 2017

Bryant has not played since the end of the 2017 season. His eight-year career with the Cowboys ended, and he didn’t sign with another team until the New Orleans Saints signed him during the 2018 season. Bryant ruptured his Achilles in his first week of practice with the Saints and never played with the team.

Bryant was out all of last season too, but the news of the workout with the Ravens was positive. Bryant didn’t sign with the Ravens on Thursday but perhaps he’ll get a chance at some point this season.

Bryant was a fantastic player with the Cowboys and is still the team’s all-time leader in receiving touchdowns. He struggled a bit his last season in Dallas and will turn 32 years old during this season. Bryant refuses to fade out of the NFL consciousness, and perhaps another shot will come.
