Devils sign defenseman Colton White to a one-year, two-way contract

On Thursday, the Devils announced that they have signed defenseman Colton White to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal is worth $700,000 at the NHL level and $90,000 at the AHL level.

The 23-year-old from London, Ontario, Canada was drafted by the Devils with pick No. 97 in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft. 

White played 45 games for Binghamton (AHL) during the 2019-20 season, scoring one goal and recording 11 assists. In three seasons with Binghamton, he's tallied 10 goals and 41 assists (51 points) with 73 penalty minutes in 163 AHL games. 

White made his NHL debut on March 13, 2019 against the Edmonton Oilers in a 6-3 Devils victory. He played three games for the Devils during the 2018-19 season and another six games during the 2019-20 season.
