On Monday, the NHL announced that as a result of four Devils players being added to the league's COVID Protocol Related Absence List, the team's games will be postponed at least through Saturday, Feb. 6.
The team’s training facilities have been closed to all players on the active roster, effective immediately, and will remain so until further notice. The NHL is in the process of reviewing and revising the Devils’ regular season schedule.
The Devils were scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 2 and Feb. 4 on the road, and then return home to face the New York Rangers on Feb. 6.
New Jersey has gone 4-3-2 in nine contests this season, and is currently tied for the fifth in the East Division.
