BOX SCORE

Probable starting pitchers: Tigers RHP Matt Manning (4-6, 5.73 ERA) vs. Chicago White Sox LHP Dallas Keuchel (8-9, 5.18 ERA).

Game notes: It's the Tigers' true home finale as they'll make up last week's rainout at Comerica Park today before hitting the road for three games against the Minnesota Twins in Minneapolis and three final games against the ChiSox in Chicago. A sweep of the four games against the Sox, who have already clinched the AL Central, would give the Tigers a winning record in the season series — there're 6-9 (not nice) against the South Siders entering Monday — and potentially get them to an overall winning record (depending on the results in Minnesota). But the Sox won't completely roll over; they're three games behind the Astros for homefield advantage in their likely ALDS matchup.

This will be Manning's second straight start against the ChiSox; he scattered four hits and three walks over five innings while allowing three runs. Manning hasn't allowed a homer since his start on Sept. 2 against the Oakland Athletics at Comerica Park.
