Game notes: Jonathan Schoop had a whale of a game on Friday night, going 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and five RBIs. His second homer got the Tigers to within one run in the seventh inning after entering the frame down 7-2, and catcher Eric Haase hit a two-run shot to give the Tigers an 8-7 lead. Unfortunately, the White Sox tied it up with a solo home run in the bottom of the inning and picked up the win on a walk-off single by Yermin Mercedes scoring Yoan Moncada off Jose Cisnero with no outs in the ninth.
