Tampa is playing the second game of a back-to-back after losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins at home, 5-1. Andrei Vasilevskiy has been great in net with a 29-8-4 record, 2.27 goals allowed per game (sixth-best in the league) and a .921 save percentage (tied for ninth) entering Thursday. Steven Stamkos leads the team with 60 points and 26 goals.
Not much rest for the Wings — they stay in Florida for a road matchup Saturday with the Florida Panthers. The Lightning head to Chicago for a game Sunday.
