Game notes: Detroit ended its homestand vs. the Miami Heat on Tuesday and promptly had to get to Milwaukee for tonight's game. Jerarmi Grant leads the team at 19.3 points per game, but Cade Cunningham is coming on nicely, with three games with 15 or more points over the past 10 days.

The Pistons begin a five-game road trip against a battered Bucks team that missed four of the five starters on last year's NBA title team at times this season. One of those guys, P.J. Tucker, now plays with the Heat, but the remaining trio — Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday — have sat at times this season because injury. But they still have Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has missed just one game and leads the teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. The two-time MVP looks like he's playing for a third in four years, averaging 26.9 points (third in the league), 11.9 rebounds (15th) and 6.0 assists (19th). Holiday and Middleton returned during Monday's win vs. Orlando.

After Wednesday's game, the Pistons move on to Los Angeles to play the Clippers on Friday and the Bucks play the Denver Nuggets the same night.
