Detroit Pistons to sign Mason Plumlee in first move of NBA free agency

On the first day NBA free agency opened, Detroit Pistons general manager Troy Weaver continued his aggressive remake of the roster, signing center Mason Plumlee.

The deal is for $25 million over three years, according to his agent Mark Bartelstein via ESPN.

Plumlee is 30 years old. He was the 22nd overall pick out of Duke in the 2013 NBA draft.
