Detroit Pistons to sign Jerami Grant, their biggest splash yet in wild free agency spree

Detroit Pistons made their biggest splash yet in their wild NBA free agency spree, reportedly agreeing to a deal with forward Jerami Grant.

They are signing him to a massive three-year, $60 million contract, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Grant, 26, increased his value after a nice season with the conference finalist Denver Nuggets, where he averaged 12 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, shooting 38.9% from 3-point range in 71 games (24 starts).

He's an athletic, strong, versatile defender, and has developed a passable offensive game as a complementary player, with improved 3-point shooting.

He was drafted 39th overall in 2014 by Philadelphia. This is the fourth time in his NBA career thhe has been traded.
