Game notes: This is is the second night of a back-to-back for the Pistons, after losing in Cleveland on Friday, 98-78. ... The Pistons play their second game since losing center Kelly Olynyk for at least six weeks. ... The Pistons won all three games against the Raptors last season.

The Raptors are without point guard Fred VanVleet, who had 32 points Thursday in a win vs. the 76ers, and forward Precious Achiuwa. Goran Dragic is starting at the point. Toronto has been competitive this season even though it has had forward Pascal Siakam for just two games following offseason shoulder surgery. He is starting in this game. Watch for rookie forward Scottie Barnes, the fourth pick in the 2021 NBA draft. He has three 21-point performances and is a terrific defender. ... After facing the Raptors, the Pistons open a five-game homestand with the Sacramento Kings on Monday.
