- Since shooting 6 for 16 from the field and scoring 17 points in the March 8 win over the Denver Nuggets, Bulls wing DeMar DeRozan has been on a tear. Over his last four games, the six-time All-Star is averaging 33.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.3 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 2.53 pointers in 42.9 minutes, shooting 54.3% from the field and 85.4% from the foul line.
Included in that run is his 49-point effort in a March 17 double-overtime win over the Timberwolves, playing 52 of a possible 58 minutes, DeRozan shot 15 for 25 from the field and 17 for 18 from the foul line, while supplementing the 49 points with 14 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers. DeRozan's recent run is a big reason why the Bulls have won four of their last five games and lead the Pacers and Wizards by two games in the loss column for the final play in spot in the East.
